What You Need to Know
Regardless of how you are receiving training services from Synergis Engineering Design Solutions, there are a few policies we want to make sure you’re aware of.
Registration/Payment
To register for a scheduled class or to reserve dates for custom training for your organization, your account manager will first need to send a written proposal. Once you return your signed quote along with payment, your training will be confirmed by our Professional Training Coordinator or Project Manager by email.
We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and company check. We also accept purchase orders with preapproval. Prices, course content, and dates are all subject to change without notice. Please speak to your account manager regarding training for multiple students or to plan a customized curriculum.
Hardware Requirements
If you will be attending training remotely via Synergis EduCast or if training will be done at your organization’s location utilizing our “Desktop as a Service” delivery system, the following technical requirements must be met:
Internet
- Minimum of 5Mbps internet bandwidth per student (ex. 8 students attending, 40Mbps min.)
- Support for HTTPS (TLS) and Secure WebSockets (WSS) through all firewalls
- Support for HTTPS (TLS) connections on port 443 to the Frame Platform
Student’s Computer
- Latest version of Chrome/Firefox/Safari/Edge that are HTML5/WebGL compatible
- Minimum of dual core processor running 1.5GHz or faster
- Minimum 2GB RAM
*Note that if you are attending training in-person at our Quakertown, PA training center, all training materials, including hardware & software will be provided.
Cancellation/Re-Scheduling
A cancellation/rescheduling fee of 25% of the daily rate per student will be assessed for anyone cancelling or rescheduling a Synergis Training Class or custom training engagement without notice of at least 14 days.
In some events, Synergis may need to cancel or reschedule classes, however you will be given at least two days-notice to select another date and time that works for you. If inclement weather is forecasted and travel may become hazardous, training will be held virtually, with Synergis EduCast. If you would like an update on your class at any time, please call us at 215-302-3000.
Student Parking
When you arrive on-site for training, please park in one of the designated Synergis Student Parking Spaces in the lot directly across from the building. Designated student spaces are marked with a “Synergis Student Parking Only” sign.
A temporary parking pass will be e mailed to you prior to your first training date that you will need to print and keep on your dashboard for the duration of your stay in the building.
