Synergis Technologies, LLC Welcomes David Taylor to the EDS Team

Synergis would like to welcome David Taylor, who is joining the Synergis family as a Manufacturing Applications Consultant as part of the Engineering Design Services teams.

David earned his B.S. in Industrial Design from Jefferson University and brings with him almost 20 years of design experience.  At his previous company, David held various positions including Mechanical Designer, CAD System Analyst, and System Specialist.  David was instrumental in establishing design standards, support, data management, and technology upgrades and improvements for a global industry leader.

David has had the opportunity to present multiple times at Autodesk University.  Some of the topics he has presented on at AU include “Generative Design”, “Vault’s Job Processor”, and “How to Leverage Social Media”.  Some of David’s areas of expertise include AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, Vault Professional, Vault integration with SAP, SolidWorks, TeamCenter, and Tekla.  Additionally, David has extensive experience with 3D laser scanning and utilizing point cloud data in various design applications.

In his role as Application Consultant, David will be working closely with the sales team to help clients adopt and implement new technology, provide pre-sales and post-sales support for our clients, and provide training and technical guidance and assistance.

David resides in Elysburg, PA with his wife and their two children.  In his spare time, you can find David coaching his son’s baseball little league, as well as serving as the managing board member for the whole league.
