Synergis is one of a select group of Autodesk Learning Partners participating in a Fusion 360 adoption program aimed at schools, colleges, and universities.

Half-day workshops help teachers and professors get up to speed with Autodesk Fusion 360 or become more familiar with some of the more advanced features available in the software like simulation and generative design. Additionally, as part of this program, we also provide guest lectures to help students better understand what is happening in the field of industrial design and manufacturing.

Since the summer of 2021, I’ve been working with Synergis Application Consultants and Autodesk Certified Instructors, Jim Swain and Dave Taylor to deliver more than 60 workshops, covering topics from a basic understanding of Fusion 360 to Fusion for CAM and generative design. These workshops also help teachers understand how to integrate Fusion 360 into their programs and curriculums using content developed by Autodesk.

Jim and Dave have delivered these workshops to a variety of programs from high school STEM programs to university programs working on everything from medical illustrations to guitar design. A future workshop is scheduled for a university theater department looking for a solution to help with set design.
