John Aulenbach – Welcome to Synergis!
By Kristen Tomasic, President, Synergis Technologies, LLC
I’m pleased to welcome John Aulenbach to the Synergis family as a Helpdesk Technician working with our Engineering Design Solutions division. John is our featured employee in this month’s employee spotlight. John joins Synergis after 25 years of manufacturing design experience at various companies in the Lehigh Valley, including ABEC Inc., Vulcan Ironworks, and Aydin Controls, but most of his experience was with FLSMIDTH, designing machinery for the cement and mining industries.
John is experienced in the Design and Manufacturing solutions from Autodesk, including AutoCAD, AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD Mechanical, Inventor, and Vault, plus he brings years of experience and expertise working with SolidWorks and PDMWorks. John graduated from Palmerton High School in 1991 and went on to Lincoln Technical institute where he achieved his Associates Degree in Mechanical Design in 1993.
John and his wife, Lisa, have a 8-year-old son, Bennett, who is active in cub scouts, where John is an assistant den leader. John also belongs to the Antique Motorcycle Club of America and is the proud owner of a 1942 Indian Scout. His favorite movies are the Guardians of the Galaxy (volumes 1 and 2) which he finds very entertaining.
John’s favorite quote is from Winston Churchill – “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; it’s also what it takes to sit down and listen.” And, his personal mantra is about learning from history – “History is important so that you don’t repeat your mistakes and those of others.”
Like all our helpdesk technicians, John is working from his home office. He spends his days on the phone or on Zoom calls, supporting customers with their Autodesk products, licensing questions, and installation issues. He brings a fresh perspective, a willingness to learn and grow, and demonstrates adaptive interpersonal skills enabling him to support all customers in a way that works and is meaningful for them. We are thrilled to have John on the team, and we are confident our customers will be thrilled to be working with John, as well!
