At the end of November, Autodesk issued a security advisory for their Autodesk Desktop Application –“Under certain conditions, an attacker may trick a user into downloading a malicious DLL file into the working directory of Autodesk Desktop Application (ADA). The malicious DLL file may then leverage a DLL preloading vulnerability in ADA and execute code on the system”.
At this time Autodesk is highly recommending you update to version 7.0.21.X (or newer).
If you’re unsure what version you’re current using, in the upper right hand corner select the down arrow next to the box with a question mark in it.
Select “About” and check the version that you have:
