Ember, the Autodesk 3D Printer, made its debut earlier this year. Autodesk’s goal behind Ember and its open platform, Spark, is to help fuel the manufacturing industrial revolution.
Along with the focus on Ember, Autodesk is looking at the Future of Making Things and how these two concepts can work together to create successful businesses and bring products to market faster. PLM 360 is helping to make this happen. Utilizing PLM 360 allows Autodesk to keep track of ECOs and variances for Ember as well as create documentation and keep track of their overall manufacturing.
