Setting up an analysis can have some frustrating moments. Often the available data for boundary conditions and such are from different sources, and in different units.
In Simulation Mechanical you can change the Display Units in the Browser to switch between various preset or custom defined unit systems to help as you enter data. Either double click on the desired unit system, or right click and select Activate.
For example: This applied pressure of 0.138 N/mm² seems a bit odd in the Metric mmks system.
st3But when the display units are switched to English (in) a 20 psi pressure load makes more sense.
st4Hope this helps.
