We had a blast last week at SU14 from the keynote with Amy Bunszel to wrap-up where a pass for Autodesk University and a $500 Apple gift card were raffled off.
Highlights:
Synergis Vice President, Kristen Tomasic, welcomed attendees to Synergis University.
Keynote: Amy Bunszel kicked off the day by discussing the history of design and where design is headed in the near future. She covered how Autodesk is using the cloud to provide better design tools that are accessible and complete the design workflow to build better products.
Drew Lavine, guest speaker from Re:Vision Architecture spoke about BIM and collaboration in reference to the construction on a current adaptive reuse project. This project will turn the old Best Made Hosiery factory in Quakertown, PA to the new Synergis home.
The Synergis Student Architecture finalists also presented their designs during a special lunch session. Here is the winning team, Liz Howe and Abby Reza from High Point Regional High School. Congratulations!
Jim Swain, Synergis Project Manager, discussed the Autodesk apps created to help you take your design tools with you wherever you go.
Several sessions of everyone’s favorite, Robert Green…
In addition to the sessions, there was a lot of conversations and networking.
Synergis University 2015
We are already looking forward to next year’s event! SU15 will be our 10th anniversary of holding this event so we are planning on making it better than ever. We will need more space than the Sands Hotel can comfortably handle so we are in search of a new location. We should have that soon and will post the place and date so you can put it in your calendar. To get all the details as they are released, subscribe in the upper right hand corner of this page.
