A couple of weeks ago I was teaching an AutoCAD class and there were questions about using hatch as shadows, masks and images.  I created this short video to help you understand the uses and also utilize ‘Superhatch’ (which is part of the AutoCAD Express Tools) to create hatch using tile-able images.  To the right is the finished image.  See the video below to see how.
