If you attended Autodesk University in the past, you know how much learning and networking can happen and you can now register for AU 2012!  If you have not been to AU before then you can register starting September 5.  AU is an Autodesk annual event held in Las Vegas to learn, connect and explore your industry to help you compete in today’s market.  Save the date for November 27- 29 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel.
Why AU 2012?

As you can see in the video, there are many reasons why people attend AU.  However, I thought it would be best to hear directly from people who have attended, so I asked our technical team of experts why they enjoy it so much (well, aside from a company trip to Las Vegas).  Here are some of the comments they told me:

“The AU community is the best aspect of the conference.  Having a chance to chat with folks both in and out of your industry gives you a perspective that no webinar or recorded session could ever provide. Insights gained from these conversations are priceless.”  -Kevin Spear, Synergis Solutions Engineer

“I learned a lot from the classes offered, however, it was much more than that to me.  I met a lot of peers and Autodesk resources that I could turn to throughout the year and I had a lot of time to ask my questions to experts that knew the answers.  In addition to that, I can take all the certification tests I want for free!  AU makes me better in my field.”  -Nicolette Szymanski, Synergis Solutions Engineer

So you can see, AU is more than just a schedule of classes.  It allows people from across the world to learn from each other about real-world situations and share innovative ideas.
This year, Synergis Engineering Design Solutions is both a co-host and exhibitor.  Stop by booth #516 to see why Synergis is an Autodesk Platinum Tier Partner.  Or attend one of the classes that our instructors are leading:

Best of Both: Combining Tools from AutoCAD and AutoCAD Mechanical
Class ID: MA1732
Jim Swain, Synergis Solutions Engineer

From Nothing to Something using AutoCAD Electrical (Hands on lab)
Class ID:  MA2085-L
Todd Schmoock, Synergis Solutions Engineer

We look forward to seeing you there!
