Meet people. Learn stuff.
The concept behind the term synergy is that teamwork will produce an overall better result than if each person was working toward the same goal individually. We can thank R. Buckminster Fuller for helping to make the term popular, and whose name is paid homage in the naming of buckminsterfullerene, aka buckyballs – think Epcot Center in Walt Disney World.

This collaboration is at the core of Synergis. We collaborate with each other to give our customers the best solutions available. And we want you to collaborate with us, with other members of the education community, and with commercial customers because together we can accomplish much more.

How do we do this? By providing the venues to make this possible. User groups, hands-on product test drives, seminars, webcast, and Synergis University.

See what’s happening near you. Or if you want to participate at your desk, check out our Live Webcasts and Screencasts here.

Part 2 - The 124th Avenue Extension Project: Challenges to Overcome

With part of the 124th Avenue Extension going through the middle of an existing rock quarry, the roadway will have significant elevation changes requiring numerous rock cuts, walls, and re-grading of adjacent property driveways. In this second webcast in the series, Dan Iliyn shares DEA’s experience moving to BIM as they attempt to overcome some of these project design challenges. Dan will focus on the project roadblocks they ran into and how these were resolved through Autodesk solutions and InfraWorks. He will touch on starting the project with Bentley’s MicroStation/InRoads and translating that into InfraWorks. Dan will then setup the 3rd and final webcast in the series by highlight some of the benefits of this process to enable smoother preliminary design, visualization to design workflows.
