| How It's Made - 3D Styles |
(Jesse Evans, Synergis Infrastructure Solutions Engineer) |
Unravel the mystery of Civil 3D styles. This hands-on lab will expose you to the differing styles within Civil 3D. We will explore object styles, label, and table styles and show you how to get the results you may be looking to achieve. Trying to get started with Civil 3D? Then this is the class for you. |

| Streamlining Your Proposal Phase |
(Bill Frederick, Synergis Director of Infrastructure Solutions)
|
In this session, we will be discussing the use of Google Earth satellite imagery within the AutoCAD Civil 3D environment. Gain an understanding of how Google Earth tools and AutoCAD Civil 3D functionality are invaluable to your 3D design models. We will take a virtual trip to your project site and get a good feel for the surroundings. Then turn your GIS data into useful modeling information and conduct initial surface analysis. After our preliminary research, we will design a site and give you the ability to quickly review, evaluate, analyze and edit multiple designs to help meet your client demands. The design is complete, so why not impress your clients and review agencies with an interactive fly-through that shows the project area and its environment. |

| Plan Production |
(Jesse Evans, Synergis Infrastructure Solutions Engineer)
|
This session explores the secrets of Sheet Set Manager for plan production within AutoCAD Map and Civil 3D. We will enlighten you to the tools you have had for years, but were afraid to use. See how to use the plan productions tools within Civil 3D and mapbook functionality in MAP to accomplish the daunting task of sheet creation. It’s a dirty job… but somebody can to do it with ease. |

| Site Selection |
(Angel Espinoza, Autodesk Technical Specialist)
|
In this class we will examine how C3D can be used for LEED Site Selection criteria for New Construction. The following topics will be covered ; 1. Assembling information from multiple data sources (Survey, GIS, CAD, Raster) containing geo-referenced and non—geo-referenced coordinate information; 2. Evaluating compiled data using Civil 3D’s calculation and analysis tools; 3. Presenting completed evaluation using Civil 3D, Google Earth and Autodesk Impression |

| Site Design |
Presented by: Jesse Evans, Bill
Frederick
|
This class is a follow-on to Sustainable Site Selection. Learn how to: 1.Optimize site designs to adhere to or gain credits for LEED criteria
2. Use the dynamic civil model for automatically balancing sites for cut and fill, as well as reporting and analysis of cost and impact and finally
3. How to integrate Architectural data and present completed evaluation using Civil 3D |

| Google Import/Export - Visualization with RDV |
(David Blanchette, Autodesk Technical Specialist)
|
Learn how use Google to visualize your design and communicate design intent with their clients. Students will learn first hand how digital prototypes. |

| Hydrology & Hydraulics - Storm Sewer Roundtripping |
(Dave Blanchette, Autodesk Technical Specialist)
|
This session will offer a general understanding of Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&H) modules and what you need to know about the current functionality. It will include demonstrations on pipe sizing within C3D, exporting the pipe network to the H&H extensions, sizing the pipes, examining the Hydraulic Grade Lines and finally brining the pipe network back into C3D.

| Scaleable Migration |
(Angel Espinoza, Autodesk Technical Specialist)
|
Introduction to a new approach to Civil 3D implementation. Learn how to productively utilize Civil 3D as a tool to supplement your existing Land Desktop workflow. Start with a single task and build from there. This class describes a series of sessions where we introduce the concept of the "Rolling Deployment" and walk through the first task of using Civil 3D for Surface Construction. Learn how to efficiently build Surfaces using Civil 3D and then quickly migrate them back to Land Desktop.

| Hydraulics and Hydrology for Dummies |
(Jason Slocum P.E., Synergis Infrastructure Solutions Engineer)
|
This session is for Civil Designers and Civil Engineers who have limited to no experience with the design and analysis of stormwater management systems. In particular, the session will explain how to delineate drainage areas, how to use the rational method to calculate stormwater runoff, and how Civil 3D and Hydraflow Express can be utilized to design culverts, channels, pipes and spillways.

| Dual Airbags |
(Bill Frederick, Synergis Director of Infrastructure Solutions and Jesse Evans, Synergis Infrastructure Solutions Engineer)
|
Watch the two airbags, Bill and Jesse, as they work head to head, Civil 3D vs. Land Desktop. Observe the proven LDT as its tries to compete with the elite Civil 3D. Watch and compare, and you decide the winner. Which program will you be behind when we hit the finish line?
