Todd Schmoock
Director, Manufacturing Solutions
Todd is a graduate of Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pa. He has over 20 years experience in the mechanical engineering field. Ten years of this time was spent as a documentation specialist/designer at Honeywell, Inc. where he worked on several government contracts which required strict drafting and design documentation in accordance with government standards. Additional experience comes from working in the technical ceramic, elevator, and specialty gas industry designing equipment for each of these fields. Todd joined Synergis in 2003 as a Design Solutions Engineer where he began providing assistance to customers through training and consulting, helpdesk support, as well as providing pre-sales support. Todd was recently promoted to Director of Manufacturing Solutions.

Jim Swain
Synergis Solutions Engineer
Jim has been with Synergis since 1997, and has over 25 years of CAD experience. Prior to joining Synergis he worked in the consumer electronics and automotive industries as a design engineer, a test engineer, and as a CAD administrator. He has also taught design classes at the college level. Jim’s broad knowledge base helps him to understand customers' problems and offer appropriate solutions. Jim earned BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University. Jim is a certified Inventor Expert, having been in the first group of people to take and pass the Autodesk Inventor Certified Expert Exam at Autodesk University in 2003. He has also presented classes at several past Autodesk Universities.
In both 2006 and 2007 Jim was one of the 10 finalists in AUGI’s annual AutoCAD “Top Dawg” competition.

Ron Seiple
Synergis Solutions Engineer
Ron has over 22 years experience in the mechanical engineering
field. Seventeen years of this time has been spent working
with document management and standards control. The last 13
years Ron has worked in sheet metal product design as a Design
Engineer, while also instituting standards, training new employees,
and working in the position as CAD Manager. The last few years
he has worked extensively with Autodesk Inventor and the Autodesk
Vault document management system. Ron joined Synergis in January
2006 as a Design Solutions Engineer providing pre-sales
support, helpdesk support, and other customer assistance.

Walt Bednarz
Synergis Solutions Engineer
Walt is a graduate of Drexel University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 12 years experience in the engineering field including mechanical design and analysis with extensive use solid modeling, FEA, and motion simulation tools. Prior to joining Synergis Technologies Inc., Walt has worked as a mechanical engineer in the defense and material handling industries and as solutions engineer for CAD/CAE industry. As a mechanical engineer, he has experience in the design of hydraulic and electrical systems, welded assemblies, and mechanisms. In the CAD/CAE industry he provided pre and post sales support, training to customers, as well as design contract work to software customers. Walt also has extensive experience with rapid prototyping systems. |

Robert Reid
Synergis Solutions Engineer
Robert Reid graduated from Middlesex College in New Jersey with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. With over 23 years of Industrial Machine Design, including Wire Drawing Machinery, Plastic Processing Machinery, & Packaging Machinery, Robert has held various positions within the workforce, including, Manager of Engineering; Sheet Extrusion Dept, Manager of Engineering, Chief Design Engineer. He
is currently an Autodesk Inventor Certified Expert. |

Nate Boyd
Synergis Solutions Engineer
Nathan is a graduate of Penn State University College of Engineering. He has over 10 years experience in the engineering field including machine design, retail fixture design and 3-D solid modeling. Prior to joining Synergis Technologies Inc., Nathan worked as an ASME Section 8, Div.1 pressure vessel designer for a leading manufacturer. He has experience in store fixture and furniture design, as well as, industrial machine design. A new member of the Solutions Engineering team in April 2007, Nathan has extensive 2-D and 3-D design and drafting experience, including time sensitive virtual and rapid prototyping. |

John Kavusak
Synergis Solutions Engineer
John has worked for Synergis since 2006 as a helpdesk technician. Prior to joining Synergis John worked in an IT role for several companies including the Mannesmann Rexroth Corporation. There he was the IT and CAD administrator for their Standard Products Operation, supporting over 150 people. He has over 13 years of experience with AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, and Inventor. For 3 years John also worked as a project engineer for a large cabinet manufacturer, creating a cabinet library in Mechanical Desktop to streamline the creation of shop drawings and cultists. John is now transitioning into the role of a solutions engineer. |

Robert
Baylor
Synergis Solutions Engineer
Bob has over 20 years experience in the engineering field
specializing in machine and Sheet Metal design. His past
roles included machine designer using various 2D and 3D Software
packages, CAD support and training. Bob has spent the last
7 years as an applications engineer in the CAD/CAM industry.
In this role Bob has extensive experience in evaluating
the CAD/CAM and work flow requirements of manufacturing companies.
Bob also has attained his MCSE certification from Microsoft. |
