| Bill
Frederick
Director, Infrastructure and GIS Solutions
Bill brings a multitude of industry experience pertaining to the Infrastructure
(Civil/GIS) Applications. He has an Associates Degree in Specialized Technology
and 15 years experience using AutoCAD and Civil Applications. Bill has worked
for many engineering firms, as well as a construction company, and was responsible
for various aspects of civil and environmental engineering, and estimating. Bill’s
vast experience includes the design and drafting of residential and commercial
subdivisions and land development plans, mining operations, restoration projects,
and surveying. His survey experience includes both in-house and field operations
utilizing several brand data collectors, total stations, and GPS equipment. Bill’s
experience as an estimator gives him the advantage of knowing how things are
done in “real world.” Over his tenure, he was also a CAD manager
for 9 years and understands the needs and concerns of civil engineering firms.
In addition to his software and hardware knowledge, Bill emphasizes the importance
of standards and procedures for his clients. Bill also has a strong background
in IT services and implementation. He has configured Microsoft networks and implemented
Autodesk products in a networked environment. Bill has obtained Civil 3D Implementation
Certified Expert (ICE) status. Bill is also active with many users groups and
has his own Civil 3D Blog.

Jesse Evans
Synergis Solutions Engineer
Jesse specializes in Infrastructure (Civil/GIS) as a Synergis Solutions Engineer, and brings a spectrum of industry experience with him to Synergis. He has his associate’s degree in Architectural Design, a certification in AutoCAD Release 14 (R14), and is also a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP). First introduced to Autodesk products in 1997, he became State certified and began using R14 in the manufacturing industry to design parts for Boeing airplanes. After returning to school and obtaining his Associates Degree in Architectural Design, Jesse was employed by a consulting engineering firm as a Technical Civil Engineering Designer. As a Civil Designer, he developed skills in Civil 3D, Land Desktop Development (LDT), Map 3D, Raster Design, and Survey. He has worked on many different levels of land development and survey projects, from hospitals to highways, rivers to residential, schools to subdivisions. With over 10 years of experience using Autodesk Products, Jesse considers learning the best way to build confidence and a brighter future. He firmly believes that understanding the Autodesk solutions can help anybody produce faster, have greater precision, and be more valuable on the market.

Mark Fisher
Synergis Design Solutions Engineer
Mark has a wide background of experience. Mark has a Bachelors’ Degree in Math/Statistics/Actuarial Science from Millersville University. He has more than 10 years of experience with various AutoCAD products including 4 years as a teacher at various Technical and Community Colleges. His experience includes civil and environmental design, structural design, CAD management, data management, and developing, implementing, and enforcing CAD standards and policies for several firms. Mark’s wide variety of project knowledge include residential subdivisions, golf courses, landfills, commercial sites, environmental restorations, sub-surface investigations, cost estimating, and plan production. His teaching background gives him the ability to quickly adapt any teaching and instructional deliveries to the types of learners that he interacts with. From classes of 3 to 35, Mark has a proven track record of “getting the knowledge to the user” in an effective manner.. |

Steve Skarbowski
Synergis Solutions Engineer
Steve is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Geography. He has 21 years experience in the field of GIS and Mapping and is currently in the process of obtaining his GISP certification. During his career in the GIS field, Steve has worked on thousands of projects. Some of which include: developing a county-wide GIS parcel database, the creation of hundreds of maps for the Environment Protection Agency, developing Internet applications for water and sewer authorities, and maintaining GIS databases for other agencies. He is currently in the process of obtaining his GISP certification in the GIS profession. Some other GIS titles that he holds are: GIS Supervisor, GIS Coordinator and GIS analyst. Steve has worked with ESRI products in the past and more recently, for Synergis, Steve supports Autodesk Map 3D, MapGuide, Raster Design and Autocad 2009. |
