Autodesk Raster Design Videos
New videos on Autodesk® Raster Design have been created for the
following functionalities:
- User Interface: See how the
user interface in Autodesk Raster Design software seamlessly integrates
with AutoCAD®-based products, allowing users to easily manage
and work with raster imagery.
- Optical Character Recognition (OCR): Text
recognition tools allow users to quickly and accurately recognize
machine and hand-printed text and tables on raster images to create
AutoCAD text or multi-line text (mtext) for inclusion in your drawings.
- Contour Follower: Use the contour
follower tools to quickly convert scanned contour maps to 2D and
3D polylines or Autodesk® Land Desktop software contour objects
for creation of surfaces.
- Image Processing: Extend the
image-processing capabilities of AutoCAD software using sophisticated
image processing tools that allow you to alter an image’s
display to hide or enhance features or prepare images for use in
other applications.
- Multi-spectral Imagery: Use
and analyze multi-spectral data from sources such as Landsat, IKONOS,
and others. Color-map bands of visual, infrared, and thermal data
to show features such as vegetation, minerals, water, urban development,
and more in false color.
- Digital Elevation Models: Use
U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Digital Elevation Models for visual
analysis of surface elevation, slope or aspect (slope direction)
to aid in planning, land use, and environment studies.
