Description: In this article we will see how AutoCAD Map 2008 can be used in a real life scenario. Let us imagine that we have a tank farm, containing 12 tanks of various liquids. A severe thunderstorm comes along and a lightning bolt strikes one the tanks and it catches on fire. The tank contains hazardous gasoline materials and starts leaking and an evacuation is needed. The smoke is very thick and affects a major highway. Firefighters don’t really know what chemicals they can use to extinguish the flames. It could and has happened.
