Test Your CAD IQ

CAD IQ is a skills assessment interview that helps Synergis Professional Trainers establish a benchmark for understanding AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and AutoCAD Mechanical users’ proficiency—all the way from basic to advanced AutoCAD skills. It also gives company management a framework to understand where their CAD users may require additional mentoring in each solution, and provides students a way to understand and expand their own knowledge base.

How Does the Synergis CAD IQ Work?
The Synergis CAD IQ is a one-on-one interview that includes over 80 questions based on practical applications of AutoCAD, for example. Topics include everyday work skills, e.g. simple lines, circles, arcs, data efficiency, as well as more advanced questions related to customizing and 3D modeling in AutoCAD. Typically, interviews run 30 minutes per person. Each question is rated on a scale from 1-3; where 1 is novice; 2 is intermediate; and 3 is guru-level (able to teach others). An individual’s final rating determines exactly what areas of learning need improvement. From the assessment Synergis trainers are able to develop a highly customized course for individuals in the company.
