Providing installation and customization assistance to create
an environment for
you to successfully use Autodesk Inventor.
Tailor Autodesk Inventor to your preferences, easing the transition and increasing overall
productivity. With this five-day implementation package the following services will be
addressed and completed specific to your needs.
Projects, Styles and Colors
Inventor uses many styles and settings
as part of its productivity enhancements. These settings
may differ from corporate drafting standards, which can slow
product learning and acceptance.
Template files store many of these drafting settings. It
is recommended that custom templates be
implemented to increase learning and productivity as early
as possible.
Project files will be set up according to the specific work
flow that the business currently follows.
Styles, colors, lighting and materials will be setup and
described to allow for modifications that
would create a conducive work environment. Creating specific
materials and attaining engineering
data to define these materials will be also be illustrated.
Drawing Template File Development: Titleblocks, Borders, Symbols
and Sheet Metal Styles
Template File Development for Parts (.ipt) and Assemblies (.iam)
and Drawings (.idw) will be
created in accordance with corporate standards. The following
will be defined:
- The extent of customization is dependent upon the availability
of existing company standards
and the need for dimension styles.
- An Inventor drawing template file is stored as an .idw and
can be saved to individual user
workstations or referenced by multiple users via a network
server location.
- Titleblocks, Borders and Symbols will be created to match
existing company titleblocks
and will incorporate field property mapping and parametrics
to benefit from Inventor’s
full functionality.
Standard Content Center and Catalog for iFeatures created
Streamlining the Inventor standard part libraries and ifeatures
improves software loading times
and reduces the time users require to locate frequently used parts.
Streamlining the standard
part library and iFeatures consists of the following:
- Content Center library & iFeature catalog optimization
- Content Center library & iFeature location
- Instruction on renaming Content Center parts & iFeatures
If existing company preferences are available for reference, library
organization will require less
time, and focus on other areas will be provided.
An Inventor standards parts library & iFeature catalog will
be created. Our implementation expert
will demonstrate how content center parts can be renamed with company
specific part numbers.
Workstation Performance optimization Application Options
An Autodesk Manufacturing Solutions Implementation Certified Expert
will optimize individual
machines to make sure that they are working at peak performance.
This will help minimize
occurrence of crashing and graphical issues.
Application options will be set to user’s needs along with
one-on-one discussions with each
user to highlight the benefits and reasoning behind specific settings.
This five-day Inventor Implementation Package is non-refundable.
Additional time remaining after
all steps of the process have been completed may be used toward a
future Synergis Manufacturing
Solutions onsite service.
